AGRIATE COLLECTION - BEHIND THE SCENES OF A RESPONSIBLE COLLECTION
The unique, wild Agriate Desert has always inspired Anne and Virginie, the creators of Benoa. Between Saint-Florent and Ile-Rousse, this place with 1000 shades of color is at the origin of a collection made from 100% natural materials. This year, one material is in the spotlight: lyocell ... Overview of the Agriate Collection 2021 version to discover from April 1st on benoashop.com and in stores.
A RESPONSIBLE COLLECTION
Natural materials , precise cuts and light fabrics , this collection captures the most beautiful things nature has to offer. One desire: to work with noble fabrics and materials to create airy pieces imbued with freedom.
A PALETTE OF COLORS, MADE IN NATURE
Anne and Virginie are introducing a new color palette for the Agriate 2021 Collection , an ode to Mediterranean hues.
Natural tones, with accents of wild green , borrowed from the Corsican maquis, sandy beige reminiscent of the beach, immortelle yellow echoing the local flora, Mediterranean blue and terracotta brown . Colors available in a 100% natural material ideal for the summer season: lyocell.
LYOCELL, NATURAL FIBER AT THE HEART OF AGRIATE
WHAT IS LYOCELL?
Lyocell, also known as Tencel or plant-based silk , is produced from eucalyptus pulp and non-toxic solvents. It is a sustainable fiber that is both environmentally friendly and biodegradable and requires little water to manufacture.
THE ADVANTAGES OF LYOCELL
Lyocell is machine washable at a low temperature, but it is recommended not to exceed 30°. This fabric dries very quickly; it is recommended to avoid tumble drying and instead air dry (better for your garment and for the planet).

- WHAT ABOUT AGRIATE -
HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH THE IDEA FOR THIS COLLECTION?
We all have our own way of experiencing our landscapes, of investing in them; and that's what we wanted, to allow our customers to appropriate moments of life through our clothes... We wanted a collection in osmosis with these coincidences of Corsican life which mean that during an impromptu picnic or an after-work aperitif we find ourselves enlisted in the heart of the maquis or the desert.
WHY USE THE AGRIATE DESERT AS A SOURCE OF INSPIRATION?
The desert is located between St-Florent and Ile-Rousse, our two cities... it is anchored in us, it is a place that speaks to us, that absorbs us, that captivates us ... The Agriate are 1000 landscapes in one place, 1000 tones in 4 seasons, deployed between land, sea and scrubland... breathtaking!
